I have a 2006 Honda Civic Ex which is stock right now. I'm having a hard time looking at the stock stuff that can be changed out. I need to know when are they going to come out with parts.

A: Well, Nicole, this would obviously depend on the age of the car. I own a 1987 Civic, and if I were to replace the engine in that one, it would run me about 750 dollars for a rebuilt motor. Now, if you own a much newer one, say less than ten years old, I would guess it would run you about 2500 bucks for a rebuild. If you bought a brand new engine, then you could exceed the worth of the car. Peace, Pretty Lady!

Ihave a Japaneese spec. 1993 i want to do some modification. These parts are difficult to find and I also want it shipped to the Caribbean...so i need some help 10 pts!!!

A: Hey you might be interested I wrecked a 1995 civic & have a pair of Honda Civic SLR x1 fenders for $200.00, a Spydur Wing Soiler for $200.00 & TYC elegante power mirrows (pair) for $30.00. Q: what is the solution for rust in the bottom parts of honda civic 1998.?
I buy honda civic 1998, but i find that all parts in the bottom of car are rusty. also there is a sound from wheels when i use brake????????????? help me what should i do??

In particular, I need just a few small parts like one of the horn button on the sterring wheel, visor, visor clips, AC register adjustment piece, drink holder cover, and door latch mounting bolts. Can I use parts from any honda civic around this year or even an accord?

A: u can use parts frm a 96-2000 civic..doesnt matter wheather its dx,ex,hx,coupe or hatch.theyre all the same.

A: If your looking for OEM Honda replacement parts, a dealership can be expensive. All oem parts are available w/ diagrams showing detailed pieces (small bolts, plastic pieces) on www.TheHondaPartsStore.com . If your looking for larger pieces (brake rotors, calipers, brake pads, radiator, etc) a lot of the parts are found in AutoZone, and are quite good. I would reccomend autozone if you dont really care about the brand. Personally I have to get all OEM, if not, repitable aftermarket racing parts for my Honda. Never settle for cheap parts if your budget can surfice. Be good to your honda, and it will be good to you =) Hope this was helpful!

Q: Need VERY cheap HONDA CIVIC PARTS?
I just got into a car accedent...insurance had run out. Everything is coming out of my pocket and I need to find a hood, driverside light, bumper and basically everything for front drivers side, oh and air bags. I have a 2002 Civic dx 4 dr PLEASE HELP!!! Q: What all would it take to get acura rsx body parts on my honda civic?
i want to put rsx fenders, headlights, bumper, and hood on my 1997 honda civic ex. they make conversion kits, but i don't know if there' are special brackets or cuts that have to be made or w/e. if you know anything about car conversions especially about civic to rsx conversions, please post! all help will be welcomed. honda owns acura and the rsx is acuras version of the civic...does anyone know if the dimensions are the same?

A: It's been done before, but you're better off selling your civic and buying an RSX. The good conversion kits that don't squeak and bang together when you hit a bump is going to run around $2,000 to $3,000. And then there's labor. The demensions are fairly close, but not exact, so putting the brackets on are extremely difficult. Acura modeled the RSX after the 7th gen Toyota Celica, so the layout of the car is designed to be lightweight and handle well. The civic was designed as an economical commuter car. If you put a conversion kit on your civic, it will throw off the balance of the car and cost loads, so I'd recommend trading up to an RSX. Then call me and I'll show you how to drive it :)

I was just wondering. I can't drive yet. I am only 13 i was just wondering for when i can drive. I was thinking get a not soo expensive car and customize it a lot. I was just wonder where can i get the parts installed? can i take them to a local garage or what?

A: You can take them to a local body shop. They love side jobs. If you already have the parts... you pay for labor and go.
